Well its that time of the year again, Its March Madness.

I have a problem with any Windows 10/11 PC on our network when our internet goes offline.(FYI Our company is located in a farming/rural aria where internet is not stable)The PC's (all 75 of them) will not see or access any PC/Servers via Names on the net.

When internet is offline windows 10/11 cant see local LAN PC Names but only IP's Windows.

When dealing with RDP, and restricting it to specific monitors instead of all monitors, everything I have read indicates you get the monitor numbers by using the MSTSC / command.however I see situations where these numbers change because of changing doc.

using RDP on multiple monitors: what are the monitor IDs listed in MSTSC /l Windows.

I wish the setup give the option to search to the internet for device drivers at this point and go out and locate the driver needed.! So I tried from Win2003 to Windows2008 from dells site and came up with nada here. It just says its looking for " Mass Storage Device driver" to load the hardware. from Sata Drivers to non-Sata drivers, back plane drivers and so on. So I spent a good hour or so yesterday and download tons of various drivers, and non of them helped one bit. so it tries to scan the system and is unable to detect it.

So I have booted into the Server 2008 from a External DVD drive, and have chosen Win2008 Stnd Edition and I get to the point for it to detect the HD drive to install on. Well I have a Dell Poweredge 2800 that currently has Windows Server2003 installed. My searches on the internet have thus far also not found anything for Windows 7. I also foujnd the XP earlier both stop because the OS is Windows 7. The driver included in that page is for Vista. And instead of waiting to get the feel of Win2k8 I thought I would get a jump on the process and use the trial environment as long as I can until we do get such servers onsite.
